Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Architecture Mots-clés : area, urban project, the city ,centre, peoples Résumé : The main object of this research is to recommend a development programme for the centreal area on the basis of peoples needs , many of which are disregarded in the project of today The problems have been identified in order to provide an adequate understanding of the actual situation .the case study with which this research is compared is a new development of a large urban project The finadings of this survey show that the new development has considerable flows in the area of accessibility public transport is poor .the cost in time and money therefore is high for the users The finadings also have revealed that the city centre with its concentration of different functions-which totally lack overall coherence –have reached a high point of frustration .finally, recommendations are given as a basis for futre planning and design ,where the main priniciple is to provide a better environment is the centre area.this needs a full understanding of peoples needs and wants and is achieved by developing full public participation.
