Cette nouvelle application 32bits est pr\u00e9vue particuli\u00e8rement pour l\u2019analyse temporelle des images satellites d\u00e9filants (tels que NOAA et METEOR) et g\u00e9ostationnaires (METEOSAT). Son d\u00e9veloppement est poursuivi au laboratoire L.A.A.R (<strong>L<\/strong>aboratoire d\u2019<strong>A<\/strong>nalyse et d\u2019<strong>A<\/strong>pplication du\u00a0<strong>R<\/strong>ayonnement) du D\u00e9partement de Physique de la Facult\u00e9 des Sciences de l\u2019U.S.T.O. , sous la direction du Professeur A.H.BELBACHIR. Ce laboratoire vient d\u2019\u00eatre dot\u00e9 d\u2019une station locale de r\u00e9ception des images satellites, ce qui nous offre dor\u00e9navant la possibilit\u00e9 de r\u00e9aliser des traitements informatiques en temps r\u00e9el, tels que le suivi du couvert v\u00e9g\u00e9tal du territoire alg\u00e9rien, l\u2019\u00e9tat de la d\u00e9sertification, l\u2019\u00e9tude des zones c\u00f4ti\u00e8res, l\u2019analyse de la dynamique de l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re, etc\u2026\u00a0\u00a0Enfin, le choix de d\u00e9velopper par soi-m\u00eame ce logiciel a \u00e9t\u00e9 dict\u00e9, entre autres, par le souci de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019un niveau suppl\u00e9mentaire dans la compr\u00e9hension globale d\u2019un domaine scientifique comme la t\u00e9l\u00e9d\u00e9tection, qui ne peut s\u2019appr\u00e9hender que par une participation active au niveau m\u00eame de la conception des outils de traitements.
