Il a pour ambition de proposer des solutions scientifiques et technologiques alternatives aux mat\u00e9riaux conventionnels, en particulier aux liants \u00e0 base de ciment Portland, connus pour leur forte contribution aux \u00e9missions de CO2.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Ce programme r\u00e9pond ainsi aux enjeux scientifiques li\u00e9s \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction de l\u2019empreinte carbone des mat\u00e9riaux de construction et \u00e0 la promotion de l\u2019\u00e9conomie circulaire dans le secteur du g\u00e9nie civil. Les travaux portent principalement sur l\u2019identification, la caract\u00e9risation et le traitement de d\u00e9chets industriels, miniers et de construction riche en aluminosilicates, en vue de leur utilisation comme mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res alternatives.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>L\u2019\u00e9quipe s\u2019int\u00e9resse \u00e0 la formulation et \u00e0 l\u2019optimisation de liants g\u00e9opolym\u00e9riques, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude de leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s physico-chimiques, microstructurales et m\u00e9caniques, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9valuation de leur durabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 court et long termes. Le programme int\u00e8gre \u00e9galement des approches d\u2019analyse environnementale, notamment l\u2019analyse du cycle de vie, afin d\u2019\u00e9valuer les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices \u00e9cologiques des mat\u00e9riaux d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s.
