Part One: Internal Regulations for Learners
Please read these regulations carefully: registering at the Intensive Language Teaching Center constitutes explicit acceptance of all of the following provisions.
Article 01: Personal Registration and Validity
Registration must be completed by the learner in person. It is only considered final once all required documents have been submitted, the fees have been paid, and the payment receipt has been delivered to the center’s administration within the specified deadlines.
Article 02: Fees
Registration and tuition fees are non-refundable and non-deferrable for any reason whatsoever, including absence or discontinuation of studies.
Article 03: Choice of Language
Only one language may be selected per registration form. Learners wishing to enroll in an additional language must submit a separate form and pay the corresponding fees, in accordance with the center’s regulations.
Article 04: Placement Test
Learners must take a placement test and will be assigned to the appropriate level based on their results and the center’s approved pedagogical organization.
Article 05: Group and Schedule
Learners must comply with the level, group, and schedule assigned by the center. No change of language, level, group, or schedule is permitted without administrative approval and subject to availability.
Article 06: Organization of Studies
The center’s administration reserves the right to modify timetables or reorganize groups when necessary, depending on the availability of teachers, classrooms, and organizational constraints.
Article 07: Attendance and Absences
Learners must attend classes regularly and respect session schedules. Any learner who accumulates more than five (05) unjustified absences will not be permitted to sit the exam.
Article 08: Age and Identification
Enrollment is not permitted for individuals under 18 years of age. A valid identification document must be presented upon registration or upon request by the administration.
Article 09: Conduct and Discipline
Learners must show respect toward teachers, staff, and fellow learners, and must take care of classrooms and equipment. Any conduct involving insults, violence, vandalism, or breach of the center’s fundamental rules is strictly prohibited.
Article 10: Inside the Classroom
Smoking, eating, and using mobile phones during class sessions are prohibited, except with the teacher’s permission for pedagogical purposes. Breaks are granted according to the center’s schedule.
Article 11: Information
Learners must follow the center’s official announcements, including administrative notices, the website, and social media pages, in order to stay informed of class schedules, exam dates, and results.
Article 12: Exams and Certificates
A certificate of completion is awarded to learners who meet the attendance requirements and administrative procedures, and who achieve the required passing grade on the exam. Level certificates are issued according to the procedure adopted by the center, in a single copy.
Article 13: Sanctions
Any violation of these regulations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent expulsion, depending on the severity of the violation. Expulsion does not entitle the learner to any refund of fees.
Article 14: Final Provisions
The center’s administration shall rule on any case not covered by these regulations, in accordance with the regulations in force at language teaching centers.
