Our faculty
Creation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science:
The faculty was brought into existence through the executive decree 13-199 of March 20th 2013 which aims at revamping the University of Sciences and Technology of Oran Mohamed Boudiaf. This decree was completed by the ministerial number 763 dating from 13-07-2013 which puts emphasis on launching two departments (within the faculty):
Computer Science Department and
Department of Mathematics
The faculty has :
An infrastructure that essentially includes:
Educational premises
(02) lecture halls with 120 to 200 seats.
(07) classrooms with 30 to 80 seats.
(02) research laboratories.
(20) TD rooms with 30 seats.
(11) TP rooms with 30 seats.
(09) doctoral and master’s student rooms.
(02) thesis defense rooms.
Administrative premises:
(34) teacher offices.

Library
Professor:
Professors provided in the faculty covers the field of Mathematics and Computer Science. It is distributed over the different courses and cycles.
The faculty contains:

The Faculty is in charge of:
03 undergraduate programs (mathematics-computer science)
04 master’s programs (mathematics-computer science)

Research:
The faculty has an accredited research laboratory, bringing together teacher-researchers, doctoral students, and students preparing end-of-study projects in the different cycles of study.
The laboratory workrooms are equipped with the necessary equipment for the research themes adopted by the different research teams belonging to the faculty’s laboratories.
Administrative Staff:
The administrative staff facilitates everyone’s mission by providing professors and students with the necessary resources.
The faculty has 45 administrative staff.
