Titre : On time-optimal control of two non-linear plants. Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Ahmed OUDDAI, Auteur Année de publication : 1986 Importance : 68 p. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Electrotechnique Mots-clés : Time-optimal non-linear plants time Optimal Control Algorithm (T.O.C.A) Résumé : The minimum time control problem has long been of interest to control engineers. Much of the theoretical study of this problem has been limited to linear systems and the results are usually problem-specific. The purpose of this dissertation is to show validity and applicability of the time Optimal Control Algorithm (T.O.C.A). Tow rather generic problems, the pendulum (problem 1) and the mobile robot (problem 2), are investigated. Two methods, the switching locus, and the Sequential Gradient-Restoration Algorithm, are used to solve for problem 1. The results are compared to solutions obtained with the T.O.C.A in terms of convergence and computation efficiency. Problem 2 is presented to illustrate further applications of the T.O.C.A.
