Important Announcement for Researchers and PhD Students
As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts to unify scientific journal classification, the General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development (DGRSDT) has released an updated list of nationally classified scientific journals (Categories A and B), along with a list of predatory journals and publishers.
The updated lists can be consulted at the following link:
http://dgrsdt.dz/fr/revues_A
Please note: These lists will be officially enforced as of May 25, 2025, for evaluating articles submitted after that date.
Researchers are reminded that for a journal to be accepted under Category “A” or “B”:
It must be approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research;
It must not be listed as a predatory journal or be published by a predatory publisher;
It must not require publication fees (excluding layout or printing costs, if applicable);
It must be indexed in Web of Science (Category A) or Scopus (Category B).
We strongly encourage all researchers to consult these lists before submitting their articles to ensure proper recognition and validation of their scientific work.
For more information, please refer to the official note issued by DGRSDT.
