Summary:
The National Seminar on Chemistry and its Applications (NSCA-2026) is a prominent scientific event that brings together researchers, academic staff, doctoral candidates, engineers, and professionals from both academic and industrial sectors at the national level. The seminar aims to foster scientific exchange on recent advances in fundamental and applied chemistry, while strengthening the synergy between academic research and industrial innovation.
In the context of growing global challenges related to energy, environmental sustainability, public health, and the development of advanced functional materials, NSCA-2026 provides a dynamic platform for discussion, reflection, and collaboration. The event seeks to promote the emergence of innovative and sustainable technological solutions through interdisciplinary approaches.
This seminar will also serve as a forum for the presentation and critical discussion of recent research findings, covering key areas such as the synthesis, characterization, modeling, and diverse applications of organic and inorganic materials. Special emphasis will be placed on innovative methodologies, emerging technologies, and industrial relevance.
Scientific Axes (Topics):
🔹 Axis 1: Molecular Synthesis and Valorization of Natural Resources
This axis focuses on the design, synthesis, and functionalization of molecules derived from natural resources. It highlights sustainable strategies for the valorization of biomass and natural compounds, with applications in pharmaceuticals, materials science, and green chemistry.
🔹 Axis 2: Nanostructures, Advanced Materials and Smart Polymers
This axis addresses the development, functionalization, and advanced characterization of high-performance materials, including smart polymers and nanostructured systems, for applications in electronics, medicine, energy storage, and other cutting-edge technologies.
🔹 Axis 3: Sustainable Processes, Green Chemistry, and Environment
This axis promotes environmentally friendly and economically viable chemical processes. It emphasizes green chemistry principles, waste minimization, resource efficiency, and innovative solutions for environmental protection and remediation.
🔹 Axis 4: Separation Processes, Energy, and Emerging Technologies
This axis focuses on advanced separation techniques, energy-related processes, and emerging technologies aimed at addressing current industrial and energy challenges. Topics include membrane technologies, catalysis, renewable energy systems, and process optimization.
Event Goals:
