Conference Overview
Existing buildings, historical heritage, and public works infrastructures are increasingly facing critical challenges related to vulnerability, and deterioration. In response to these issues, this seminar aims to promote innovative and operational solutions that combine heritage preservation with advanced rehabilitation technologies.
The papers will contribute to advancing modern inspection and diagnostic methods, assessing the causes of pathologies, analyze the compatibility and the durabilityof repair materials , and optimize both structural and seismic retrofitting. Another major focus of this event will be dedicated to energy rehabilitation.
Beyond buildings, these challenges also concern the resilience of transport infrastructures, including inspection and monitoring strategies for dams, bridges, tunnels, slope instability and rockfall.
By merging traditional engineering with digital advancements like AI and reverse engineering, this scientific event seeks to foster multidisciplinary collaboration and to advance sustainable strategies for the rehabilitation.
It provides a platform where scientists, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders gather to exchange knowledge, share cutting-edge research, and collaborate on sustainable practices for civil engineering. The two-day event includes series of activities such as Plenary Keynote Lectures, Thematic Sessions, Poster Sessions, Networking Opportunities, Tours, etc.
Conference Objectives
The primary objectives of the “REHABUILD26 are to:
– Provide a forum for scientific research .
– Promote innovative solutions for the conservation of built heritage, advanced structural diagnostics, innovative materials and energy rehabilitation
– Contribution to updating the technical standards and regulations for the rehabilitation of existing buildings.
– Encourage the adoption of artificial intelligence and digital engineering tools in rehabilitation projects.
The list of topics gives an idea of the wide range of applications to be discussed during the meeting. Contributions on topics not listed are also welcome if they fall within the scope of the Conference.
Given your contributions on this filed, we are confident that your participation will greatly enhance the depth and quality of our discussions. We would be honored if you could present on your recent research and share your insights with an academic commnity..
The Conference will bring together researchers , scientists ,engineers and professionnals from around the country to celebrate excellence in rehabilitation and promote recent innovations in science and engineering
