Scholarship Announcement in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania
PhD Program – Academic Year 2026/2027
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research informs all students wishing to pursue their higher studies abroad that, within the framework of bilateral cooperation between Algeria and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, applications are now open for scholarship opportunities offered to Algerian students for the academic year 2026/2027, in order to prepare a PhD degree at Université de Nouakchott Al Aasriya.

Application File:
The application file must include the following documents:
- Baccalaureate transcript;
- Copies of university academic transcripts;
- Copy of the Bachelor’s degree;
- Enrollment certificate for the second year of Master’s studies for the academic year 2025/2026;
- Class ranking certificate;
- PhD research proposal;
- Copy of the first page of a valid passport;
- The Master’s degree diploma shall be submitted after graduation.
