Call for Applications – 2027 L’Oréal–UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards

The University is pleased to inform women faculty members, researchers, and scientists that applications are now open for the 2027 L’Oréal–UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards.

Since its creation in 1998, this international programme, implemented by L’Oréal subsidiaries with the support of UNESCO Field Offices, has recognized and supported outstanding women scientists by honoring their exceptional contributions to scientific research and promoting excellence among women in science.

Eligible Fields

The 2027 edition will recognize five (05) internationally renowned women researchers for their outstanding achievements in the following fields:

  • Physical Sciences;

  • Mathematics;

  • Computer Science.

Award

Each laureate will receive an award of €100,000 in recognition of her exceptional scientific contribution.

Application Procedure

Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the dedicated application platform.
